Sand Valley Golf Resort

Sand Valley Golf Resort currently boasts Sand Valley (ranked #17 public course in US, Golf Digest) and Mammoth Dunes (ranked #26 public course in US, Golf Digest) and an incredibly unique 17 hole par 3 course affectionately named The Sandbox. Pool Life

For $2/day, guests can enjoy all that the Lake Arrowhead Association has to offer including beaches, pools, tennis courts, beach volleyball and campgrounds. Fishing

Those fishing Lake Arrowhead will find a large stock of Walleye, Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike and Panfish. Want to really test your skills? Visit one of the largest lakes in Wisconsin, Petenwell Lake located just 2 miles from The Ironwood Club. Boat Rentals and Fishing Charters are available.

Snow Mobiling

Located steps from The Ironwood Club is over 230 miles of state funded well groomed trails that twist through the forests and farmlands of Adams County and weave their way through Rome. The local Sno-Bandits Snowmobile Club is dedicated to providing the finest trails for recreational family snowmobiling. All riders are required to purchase a trail pass. ATVs & Quads

Many roads in the Town of Rome are open to ATV riders and marked with ATV route signs or arrows. Also, don’t forget to check out Dyracuse Recreational Park that includes Motocross/Supercross, Pee Wee tracks and over ten miles of trails. There is a 4 acre sand bowl, along with a mud bog play area. New trails are being added with plans for continued expansion.

Hit The Trails

Rome, Wisconsin is known for its extensive hiking and biking trails. Take off for the morning to explore the beautiful nature that Central Wisconsin has to offer. Trail maps are available. Didn’t bring a bike with you? No worries, rentals are available too.
